Eva Longoria's Blonde Highlights Are Total Summer Hair Inspo PHOTOS

It's a year of exciting changes! Former Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria showed off a new haircut and color at the red carpet for a film screening. The actor, known for her shiny and long chocolate locks, went shorter, more layered, and more blonde. Or more blonde-highlighted! But even though she shed some length and obvs went lighter, it's not a crazy drastic change. In other words, Longoria did not chop off her locks. She just changed them and it's a perfectly executed new shape and shade. Her new haircut comes only a week after her fabulous wedding to Jose Antonio Baston.

Longoria (sorta) documented the process on her Instagram feed as well, posting a cute and goofy photo of her glam squad working on her strands. In it, she is surrounded by four (!!!) hairstylists. She followed it with another photo of her new style. She was clearly having fun while changing up her look.

Longoria's locks have an almost honey x caramel x golden tone now, as though they were kissed by the sun. The color pairs wonderfully against her skin and eyes.

The new cut falls past her shoulders and visibly brighter, blonder pieces frame her face. It's certainly not a #ShortHairDon'tCare moment, but it is a refreshing change.
