Dramatic footage of superyacht bursting into flames on Hamilton Island in Queensland has been shared, with thick plumes of black smoke blanketing the area.
The vessel has been ablaze since 10am according to Queensland Ambulance, with paramedics rushing to the scene shortly after.
The vessel was empty when it went up in flames, resulting in no injuries from the fire itself according to paramedics.
However, multiple people have been assessed for smoke inhalation after venturing down to the scene to take a look.
Paramedics remain on scene and are warning locals to avoid the area if they do not need to be there.
