Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are one of the most desirable couples when it comes to trying to get an interview for television and other programs. Royal family watchers know Meghan and Harry – who announced they were leaving the royal family for good last year – recently unveiled that they would be doing a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Additionally, it’s common knowledge that the royal family hasn’t done well with interviews. For instance, Princess Diana famously did an interview in which she insinuated that her husband had an affair.
Moreover, Prince Andrew had his own troubles with the British press many years later when he was put on blast for having an association with the now-dead socialite, Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey, the New Yorker, died behind bars right as he was about to go on trial.
Since then, the FBI among other organizations has reportedly tried to reach out to Prince Andrew for an investigation, to which Andrew initially declined. It was later reported, however, that Prince Andrew was going to cooperate with them after all.

Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their interview with Oprah Winfrey coming up and CBS has paid Meghan and Prince Harry $7.5 million for the right to air it. According to Page Six, it’s supposed to be a long one as well.
Scheduled to air on Sunday at 8:00 pm, Page Six says the conversation will go on for two hours. According to Wall Street Journal, the interview will cost CBS between $7 million and $9 million.
The outlet says CBS has bought the rights to broadcast it and they’re going to charge $325,000 for every 30 seconds of advertisement-time. Interestingly, a spokesperson says the couple was not paid for the interview, however.
A new snippet of the interview was featured on CBS This Morning and it featured Meghan saying how “liberated” she felt to be able to speak to her because she wasn’t allowed to talk to the press before.
